It didn't take long for Hastings to get on the board when in the fourth minute, keeper Taylor Evans attempted to pass the ball out wide but it deflected off a defender where Naomi Pedroza collected the turnover and placed to ball into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead in just the fourth minute.
In the ninth minute, Gabriella Viniciguerra picked up a turnover deep in Hastings territory and fed the ball to Eva Dunker as she dribbled the ball into the attacking third where she fed a perfect through ball to Pedroza as she beat Evans to make it 2-0.
It wouldn't be until the 41st minute when the Lady Broncos would strike again and this also came off a bad Wildcat turnover as Dekota Schubert stole the ball and took it near the end line where she crossed the ball low finding a wide-open Miley Prine as she deposited the ball into the empty net for the 3-0 lead.
Things would then go crazy in the second half with a total of six goals plus multiple shots bouncing off the post and cross bar.
Hastings got things going in the 65th minute when Pedroza collected the ball on the right side making a great move to beat her defender and then connected with a wide open Prine for her second goal and the 4-0 lead.
Baker's Melissa Siegel came back three minutes later with a goal to make it 4-1.
In the 72nd minute, Megan Lampe sent a ball into the box where the keeper punched the ball into the air only to have Eva Dunker head the ball into the goal for the 5-1 lead.
And then crazy enough, a bad Hastings turnover put the ball at the feat of Darcy Cato as she ripped a shot past Elizabeth Billings to make it 5-2 just seven seconds later.
The Wildcats nearly made it a two-goal game when Cato hit a shot in the 77th minute that bounced back into play off the post.
In the 79th minute, Pedroza sent a long ball finding Sofia Gomez-Garcia as she easily beat Evans for the goal and the 6-2 lead.
Hastings then finished up the scoring when Schubert hit a low cross to Dakota Pritchard as she deposited the ball into the net to round out the scoring 7-2 in the 86th minute.
Hastings finished the game out shooting Baker 17-to-10 and 12-to-4 in shots on goal.
