Broncos come from behind to knock off Midland
Fremont, NE - The Hastings College Women's Basketball Team faced plenty of adversity against Midland University on Tuesday night before coming out on top 55-51.
Chelsey Morten may be just a freshman but she played like a true veteran racking up 19 points along with senior Brittney Wong who also had 19 of her own.
Things looked pretty grim for the Broncos as they trailed 41-32 in the second half but then went on a 23-10 run to end the game and pick up their first conference win of the season.
Hastings improves to 3-4 (1-1) and will step back out of conference play as they will play host to York and Sterling this Friday and Saturday as tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m. both days at the Lynn Farrell Arena.
