Hastings Falls Short Against Morningside
Hastings, NE - The Hastings College Women's Basketball Team may have played their most complete game of the season but Morningside showed why they are one of the top teams in the country defeating the Broncos 74-66 on Saturday.
Overall Hastings went toe-to-toe with the Mustangs but in the end turnovers would be the difference in this one. Morningside forced 17 turnovers while only surrendering 10.
Cami Bruckman led the Broncos scoring 17 while Brittney Wong added 15 and Tanasia Uhrig had 11. Chelsie Trask led all scorers with 21 for the Mustangs.
Hastings falls to 2-5 (0-1) and will be in action again Tuesday Nov. 20 as they will travel to Fremont to take on Midland University with tipoff set for 6 p.m.
