(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 24-30, 2016. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2016-2017 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Defense – Daniel Linstead (SO/Canberra, Australia), Hastings College (Defender)
Daniel Linstead of Hastings is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Linstead, a sophomore, from Canberra, Australia, is the anchor of the back line for the Broncos as Hastings only allowed four shots to Northwestern of which none were on frame. He has been a part of a defense that has recorded 11 shutouts this season including four straight to finish out the regular season.
