Whitehall and White Earn GPAC Honors
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 5-11, 2016. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2016-2017 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – Daniel Whitehall (SO/Warrington, England), Hastings College (Forward)
Daniel Whitehall of Hastings is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Whitehall, a senior, from Warrington, England, has been a big presence on the front line for the Broncos as he scored in all three games last week including two goals against No. 24 Lyon. His goal total for the season is now at eight as he scored 14 goals last season. His production has helped the Broncos begin the season 6-0
Men's Defense – Joe White (JR/London, England), Hastings College (Goalkeeper)
Joe White of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. White, a junior, from London, England, continues to be a brick wall in net for the Broncos recording three shutouts last week including two big wins over previously unbeaten (RV) Georgia Gwinnett and No. 24 Lyon. He also picked up five saves against Hannibal-Lagrange as Hastings improves to 6-0.
