High Marks Continue to Pile up for Women's Track and Field
Crete, NE – The Hastings College women’s track and field team was in action on Saturday at the Fred Beile Classic and brought home three gold medals.

Kiara Anderson brought home first place in the weight throw with an "A" standard throw of 18.48m.
Nisa Thomas just missed her own school record in the 60m hurdles bringing home first place in a time of 8.68 which is .12 off her school record setting 8.56 time. This of course is an "A" standard national qualifying time. Thomas went on to win the 200m dash in a time of 25.93 while Rhys Maxey placed sixth in a time of 27.01
Veronica Pinkerton finished first in the 1000m run in a time of 3:12 while Whitney Cure placed eighth in a time of 3:35. Pinkerton finished fourth in the 400m dash in a time of 1:01.70 while Jaida Rowe placed sixth in a time of 1:01.95.
Zailee Poulson went on to finish second in the Pentathlon with 2762 points. She took first on the 60m hurdles in a time of 9.89 and first in the high jump with a leap of 1.56m
Elizabeth Baade took fourth in the 5000m run in a time of 19:54 while Ava Brackhan placed eighth in a time of 21:48.
Myricle Moffett placed sixth in the 60m dash in a time of 7.96.
Trinity Doublin went on to finish seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 10.76m.
Hastings will be back in action Friday Feb. 9 taking part in the Concordia Indoor Invite for its final preparation before the conference meet coming up the following weekend.
