Women's Tennis Falls to Fort Hays State

Juniors Josline Carter and Victoria Harris pulled off a win a #1 doubles, winning 6-3. Fort Hays State won 6-1 at #2 and #3 doubles to claim the doubles point and a 1-0 lead.
Fort Hays State won all six singles matches, but all Broncos were able to win at least three games. Junior Abby Harveson led the team, winning six games in a 6-4, 6-2 loss at #6 singles, while sophomore Lexi Benson won five games in a 6-3, 6-2 loss at #5 singles. Sophomore Cara Ansbach and Paige Willcoxon each won four games at #2 and #4 singles, both falling 6-3, 6-1.
Up next, Hastings will play at Kansas Wesleyan tomorrow at 12:30pm.
