Thomas Garners GPAC Player of the Year; Four Broncos Honored
(Sioux City, Iowa) – Reggie Thomas of Hastings College has been selected as the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference(GPAC) Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Year and headlines the GPAC Basketball All-Conference Teams for 2023-24. Thomas averaged 24.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the Broncos who went 20-8 overall and 15-5 in conference play during the regular season, earning a share of the GPAC regular season title.

Other GPAC basketball honorees for 2023-24 include: Defensive Player-of-the-Year Jimmy Linas from Jamestown; Freshman-of-the-YearRandy Rosenquist Jr. of Dakota Wesleyan; and the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Coach-of-the- Year Todd Raridon from Hastings. The All-GPAC Basketball Teams and honors are selected by the league's 11 head coaches.
Thomas becomes the first Bronco to earn conference player of the year since Tim Brotzki won it back in 1991 back in the days when it was the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
