Things did not get off to the start the Broncos wanted as a penalty in the box was called in the first minute of play against the Broncos. But Pablo Arce-Salinas was up to the challenge diving to his right to save the shot off the foot of Thomas Moulder.
The game remained scoreless into the 29th minute when Nils Schaefer sent a cross into the box where Lewis Albert put the shot away inside the near post for the 1-0 lead.
Then right before halftime, Midland was a man down but broke through on a counter attack as Diego Saenz put the ball into the back of the net in the 45th minute and then chaos ensued. Two yellow cards were issued and then a red card was issued to Juan Arteaga-Lopez as both teams were now down to 10 men as Midland's Ryan Lea was sent off in the 39th minute.
The game would remain tied 1-1 into the 74th minute as the Warriors were called for a foul in the box giving the Broncos a chance to take the lead. Ruben Bande stepped up and buried the shot into net for the 2-1 lead.
Hastings looked like they may walk away with the victory until a long ball by Midland was tracked down by Lucas Foreman as his first shot hit the post but the rebound came right back to him as he snuck the shot inside the near post for the equalizer in the 86th minute. Neither team would get another shot over the final four minutes as the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Hastings outshot the Warriors 15-to-11 and 7-to-4 in shots on goal.
