Men's Golf Finishes 7th; Escalera Places 3rd
Beatrice, NE – The Hastings College men’s golf team took part in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships held at the Beatrice Country Club where the Broncos finished seventh with a team score of 926 while Northwestern won with a score of 900.

Gabriel Escalera got off to a fast start in the opening round firing a (-3) 69 which had him tied for first. He then came back with back-to-back rounds of 75 to finish the tournament in third place with a three-round total of (+3) 219 which was just three shots back of the winner. This is the best individual finish for a Bronco since Ben Vetrovsky finished second back in 2015.
Cullen Buscher finished in a tie for 19th with a three-round total of (+16) 232. His best round was round two with a (+4) 76.
Nicolas Silva finished tire for 36 with a three-round total of (+22) 238 with his best round coming in round two with a (+1) 73.
This wraps up the season for the Broncos.
