Men's Bowling Brings Home the Title from the Storm Hawk Classic
Quincy, IL – The Hastings College men’s bowling team brought home the top prize from the Storm Hawk Classic this past weekend.
Quincy, IL – The Hastings College men's bowling team brought home the top prize from the Storm Hawk Classic this past weekend.
The Broncos won the total pin count with a total of 8080 which topped Upper Iowa's total of 7949.
Brandon Engels went on to finish fourth individually with a total pin count of 1070 for average of 214. His best game was game one where he bowled a 254. Tyler Call finished sixth with a total pin count of 1051 for an average of 210.2. His best game came in game three where he bowled a 244.
Then Hastings advanced to the championship match in bracket play and faced off against Upper Iowa. After losing game one 193-183, HC dominated game two 234-204 and then won game three 189-165 to bring home the tournament title as well.
The Broncos will be back in action taking part in the NAIA Qualifier on Feb. 25-26 out in Belton, MO.
