Men's Bowling Places 1st at Bronco Open
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College men’s bowling team competed in the Bronco Open this past weekend where the Broncos finished third overall with a total pin count of 5639. Iowa Central won with a total pin count of 5745.
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College men's bowling team competed in the Bronco Open this past weekend where the Broncos finished first overall with a total pin count of 8908 at Pastime Lanes.
The Broncos sat in third going into the Baker games and that is where Hastings jumped to the top of the ticket to take the team title. Kansas Wesleyan finished in second with a total pin count of 8831. The best Baker game for the Broncos was Baker 13 as the team bowled a 256.
Tyler Seeley led the way for the Broncos as he finished 8th with a total pin count of 1166 as he averaged 194.33. His best game was in game six where he bowled a 237.
Nathan Stinemates was the next top Bronco as he finished 16th with a total pin count of 1120 as he averaged 186.66 per game. His best game came in game two where he bowled a 216.
Carstin Olson placed 22nd with a total pin count of 1085 which averaged out to 180.83. His best game was in game three where he bowled a 240.
Alex Gomez finished 38th with a total pin count of 968 for an average of 193.6 per game but he didn't bowl in game one. His best game was game six with a 227.
The Broncos will now turn its attention to the Leatherneck Classic on Saturday Nov. 12 out in Davenport, IA.
