Women's Cross Country Finishes 29th at Nationals
Tallahassee, FL – The Hastings College women’s cross country team finished 29th at the NAIA Women’s National Championship Meet on Friday morning.
Tallahassee, FL – The Hastings College women's cross country team finished 29th at the NAIA Women's National Championship Meet on Friday morning.
Veronica Pinkerton led the way for Hastings by finishing 98th in a time of 18:51 which was seven seconds better than her 18:58 time at the conference meet.
Shania Santos was the second Lady Harrier to cross the finish line in 121st in a time of 19:05 which was four seconds better than her time at the conference meet.
Madison Gerken finished 136th in a time of 19:15 which also better his conference time by four seconds while Jilee Golus placed 221st in a time of 19:50.
Elizabeth Baade placed 268th in a time of 20:23 with Landry Hinkson finishing right behind her in 270th in a time of 20:24. Mikayla Seebohm finished 274th in a time of 20:28 which was 11 seconds faster than her time at conference.
With the season coming to a close, now the runners will focus on the upcoming indoor track and field season.
