Shotgun Sports Wins MPCC Fall Flurry
North Platte, NE – The Hastings College Shotgun Sports team competed at the MidPlains Community College Fall Flurry this past weekend and brought home lots of hardware.
North Platte, NE – The Hastings College Shotgun Sports team competed at the MidPlains Community College Fall Flurry this past weekend and brought home lots of hardware.
Ty Parsons was the top performing male hitting 278 out of 300 total targets. He finished in a tie for first in sporting clays connecting on 93-of-100 targets. Isaac Hicks and Hunter Gilbertson also hit 93-of-100 targets in sporting clays. Hicks went on to win the tiebreaker to take the top prize in sporting clays.
Tanner Dager finished second overall to Parsons after losing the tiebreaker but he also hit 278-of-300 targets. Dager was also the high overall combined in male trap by hitting 94-of-100 targets.
Other top performers were Gilbertson as he hit 275-of-300 targets, Hicks hit 267-of-300 targets, Tucker Carpenter connected on 266-of-300 targets and Austin Hofts as he connected on 263-of-300 targets.
Hastings will be back in action Sept. 23-24 hitting the road to take part in the Midland Invitational out in Lincoln, NE.
