Shotgun Sports Opens Season With 5th Place Finish at Fort Hays
Hays, KS – The Hastings College shotgun sports team was in action this past weekend competing at the Fort Hays State Invite and here are the results.

Ty Parsons finished in a three way tie for first place overall in sporting clays while Jaylee Bradley took second place overall for women's double trap.
As a team, the Broncos finished fourth in doubles skeet, fifth in trap, fourth in doubles trap and second in sporting clays.
Overall the top performer for the Broncos was Tanner Dager as he hit 322 targets out of 350. Tucker Carpenter hit 314, Austin Hofts and Hunter Gilbertson each hit 307 while Isaac Hicks hit 305.
Hastings will be back in action Sept. 16-17 taking part in the MPCC Fall Flurry out in North Platte, NE.
