Men's Bowling Places 11th and 14th at Las Vegas Tournaments
(Las Vegas, NV) – The men’s bowling team competed in Las Vegas from Dec. 18-21. In the first two days, Hastings took 11th out of 55 teams in the Glenn Carlson Invitational. In the last two days they took 14th out of 55 teams in the Collegiate Shootout.

At the Glenn Carlson Invitational, sophomore Trevor Seeley was 17th overall to lead the Broncos with a total of 1708 pins and an average of 213.5 in the eight rounds. Senior Brandon Engels finished 31st with a total of 1647 pins and an average of 205.9 in his eight games.
Sophomore Kaden Kuusela was third-best for the Broncos, placing 40th with a pin count of 1605 and an average of 200.6 in the eight rounds. Sophomore Anthony Morella finished 126th with a total of 1378 and an average of 196.9 in his seven games. Junior Tyler Call placed 248th with a total of 942 and an average of 188.4 in his five games.
At the Collegiate Shootout, Morella placed 11th, just four pins out of the top 10. He had a pin count of 1124 and an average of 224.8 in five games, including a 258 in the last game. Seeley took 118th with 974 total for a 194.8 average in his five games.
Engels had the third-highest Bronco finish at 215 overall, with a pin count of 814 in four games and a 203.5 average. Kuusela was 240th by knocking over 240 pins in four games, averaging 193.8. Senior Nathan Stinemates placed 261st with 736 in four games for a 184 average. Call finished 294th with 627 in three games, averaging 209.
Up next, Hastings will compete at the Kegel Isbpa Midwest Classic in Addison, IL on January 18-19.
