2024 - Veronica has qualified for nationals all 12 seasons at Hastings College. She is the only person, male or female, to accomplish this in the history of the school. She is a 3x All-American, 2x National Runner-Up, and 17x All-Conference runner. Veronica currently holds the 6K Cross Country school record, as well as the school record in the indoor 800m, and school records as part of the indoor 4x400m relay, the indoor 4x800m relay, and the distance medley relay. She is listed on the Hastings College All-Time Top 10 list in 13 events. Not only is Veronica one of the top runners in Hastings College history but she is a phenomenal student. She has made the Dean's List 7 of 7 semesters and should make it 8 for 8 at the end of this current semester. She is a 4 time NAIA Cross Country Academic All-American, a 4x NAIA Indoor Track & Field Academic All-American, and a 3x NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-American. Veronica has been a cross country and track & field team captain and is known as one of the loudest and most energetic teammates when encouraging her fellow runners and teammates in cross country and track & field. Veronica is usually one of the first to arrive and volunteer to help load equipment and one of the last to leave helping to unload equipment or clean the bus after long meets. She often volunteers to give teammates rides to and from meets and practices and is well respected by all of her coaches. In addition to all of this Veronica is a double-major in Marketing and Studio Digital Art. She works two jobs, one for Boyd Jones where she interned this previous summer, and another as a Graphic Designer for the Hastings College Center for Applied Media Arts. This year Veronica has volunteered to help with the Kool-Aid Days 5K run, as a Mural Day judge here on campus, and managed and hosted a Trivia Night fundraiser for Food4Thought. Her coaches can think of no one who is more accomplished and truly shows what it means to be a successful student-athlete than Veronica Pinkerton.
