Gerken and Pinkerton Were Neck and Neck; Women's Cross Country Finishes 9th
Lincoln, NE – The Hastings College women’s cross country team was a bit shorthanded as they finished ninth at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite on Saturday morning.
Lincoln, NE – The Hastings College women's cross country team was a bit shorthanded as they finished ninth at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite on Saturday morning.
Madison Gerken led the way by finishing 102nd in a time of 19:23 while Veronica Pinkerton finished right behind her in 104th in a time of 19:24.
Jilee Golus finished 168th in a time of 20:34 with Grace Dow finishing close behind in 172nd in a time of 20:38. Rounding out the scoring was Mikayla Seebohm as she finished 178th in a time of 20:43.
Hastings will be off this next few weeks and will be back in action Saturday Oct. 7 taking part in the Briar Cliff Invite in Sioux City, IA.
