Women's Cross Country Takes 8th at Briar Cliff
Sioux City, IA – The Hastings College women’s cross country team continues to make strides as the hope is to qualify for nationals as the Lady Harriers placed 8th at the Briar Cliff Invite on Saturday. The meets moving forward are 6k meets instead of 5k like they have been in the past.
Sioux City, IA – The Hastings College women's cross country team continues to make strides as the hope is to qualify for nationals as the Lady Harriers placed 8th at the Briar Cliff Invite on Saturday. The meets moving forward are 6k meets instead of 5k like they have been in the past.
Veronica Pinkerton was the top finisher by finishing 27th in a time of 22:56 while Madison Gerken was not far behind finishing 37th in a time of 23:07.
Shania Santos placed 52nd in a time of 23:31, Elizabeth Baade placed 98th in a time of 24:33 while Grace Dow was right on her heels in 99th in a time of 24:38.
Hastings will continue to make its run towards the national championship meet as they will compete in a big meet out in Ashland, NE as they will take part in the Flaming Tiger NAIA Classic on Oct. 21.
