Loseke Ends Career as 2-Time All-Conference Honoree
(Sioux City, Iowa) – Honors for the 2023 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Golf Season have been announced.
(Sioux City, Iowa) – Honors for the 2023 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Golf Season have been announced.
The All-Conference Team for 2022-23 was voted on by the coaches at the conclusion of the season and took into account the entire season of results.
The top-ten are considered first team, with the next five being named second team. An honorable mention list was also created based on minimum votes from the coaches.
Sofia Castelan from Morningside University was named the GPAC Women's Golfer-of-the-Year, while Emery Custer from Concordia University was selected as the Newcomer-of-the-Year. Ben Irlbeck from Briar Cliff University was named Coach-of-the-Year after leading the Chargers to the GPAC Women's Championship in Spencer on May 1-2.
The top-ten from the GPAC Tournament were considered the GPAC All-Tournament Team for 2023, with the medalist (Sofia Castelan) the captain of the All-Tournament Team.
