Loseke Finishes 6th; Hastings Places 6th at Central Christian
McPherson, KS – The Hastings College women’s golf team competed down at the Central Kansas Classic as the Lady Broncos finished sixth on the Turkey Creek Golf Course.
McPherson, KS – The Hastings College women's golf team competed down at the Central Kansas Classic as the Broncos finished sixth on the Turkey Creek Golf Course.
Mackenzie Loseke led the way with a two-day total of 162 which was good enough for a tie for sixth. In round one, she shot a season low 78 and then fired an 84 on day two.
Anna Cafferty finished 24th with a two-day total of 180. She shot 91 on day one and came back with an 89 on day two. Riley Lanning finished 29th with a score of 188. Her best round was round one with a 91.
Shelby Schroeder finished 32nd with a two-day total of 193 while Isabel Gittings finished 37th with a two-day total of 200.
As a team, Hastings shot 702 while Barton County CC won the event with a 632.
Hastings will be back in action Sept. 30 to take part in the Nebraska Intercollegiate to be played out in Norfolk, NE at the Norfolk Country Club.
