Men's Wrestling Goes 1-1 at Green County Showdown
Bartlesville, OK – The Hastings College men’s wrestling team went 1-1 down at the Green County Showdown hosted by Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.
Bartlesville, OK – The Hastings College men's wrestling team went 1-1 down at the Green County Showdown hosted by Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.
Hastings struggled in its match against (RV) Avila losing 36-3. Andy Rojas (141) picked up the lone win by defeating Tyler Johnson 6-2.
In the Bethany match, Hastings won four matches via forfeit while Jack Morton (149) picked up a win over Kaden Goff via pin at the 3:22 mark of the match. Hastings went on to win the match 30-21 to finish the day 1-1.
The Broncos will be back in action Friday Jan. 13 hitting the road to take on York in a dual with the match set to begin at 7:00 pm in York, NE.
