#13 Mustangs Take Down Broncos
(Hastings, NE) – #13 Morningside came to town and defeated the Broncos, 7-0, on Thursday afternoon.

The Mustangs came out strong, winning all but two games in the three doubles matches to go up 1-0 heading to singles action.
At #1 singles, sophomore Joel Carter lost a tight first set, 6-4, before Morningside took the second set, 6-0. Sophomore Ben Hafer and freshman Gavin Watterson won three games each in their losses at #2 and #6 singles.
The Mustangs lost only four combined games at #3, #4, and #5 singles to conclude the 7-0 win, closing out the Broncos' regular season.
Up next, Hastings will begin their preparations for the GPAC Tournament, which takes place on Apr. 23-25 in Omaha, NE.
