Crossest Top Placing NAIA Runner; Women 3rd
Hastings, NE - The Hatings College women's cross country team was in action at the Bronco Stampede as the Lady Harriers placed third on Saturday morning. Once again
Leading the way was Sam Crossett (SR/Sandpoint, ID) as she was the top collegiate finisher in second place with a time of 18:57. Madison Gerken (FR/McCool Junction, NE) placed 7th and was the third highest collegiate finisher in a time of 19:59.
Hannah Denson (FR/Omaha, NE) placed 19th and was the 12th fastest collegiate runner in a time of 20:39. Veronica Pinkerton (FR/Beatrice, NE) finished 34th and was the 23rd collegiate runner in a time of 21:24 while Elizabeth Baade (FR/Highlands Ranch, CO) was the 26th top collegiate runner in a time of 21:42.
Hastings will be back in action Saturday Sept. 19 as the team will head to Union County, SD to take part in the Morningside Invitational to be run at the Adams Nature Preserve.
