Women's Tennis Goes 4-0 to Claim Bronco Invite Title
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College women’s tennis team got off to a great start in the fall of 2023 going 4-0 at the Bronco Invite to claim the team title this past weekend.
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College women's tennis team got off to a great start in the fall of 2023 going 4-0 at the Bronco Invite to claim the team title this past weekend.
After cruising through its first two matches, Hastings finished Friday with a shortened match against College of Saint Mary as once Hastings picked up win No. 4, it was called as Hastings was on to the championship against Great Plains Athletic Conference rival Doane.
The Championship match would come down to the final match as both teams won three points. Victoria Harris would make sure to not let the title slip away as she won her match 6-2, 6-0 to claim the title.
Hastings is now 4-0 on the year and will now get ready for the spring season with prep work to be done in the winter.
