Women's Bowling Finishes 5th at Jayhawk Challenge
Topeka, KS – The Hastings College women’s bowling team competed down at the Jayhawk Challenge and brought home a fifth place finish with a total pin count of 6812 while Wichita State won with a total pin count of 7575.

Marissa Ruiz led the way for the Lady Broncos by finishing 10th with a five-game total of 910 for an average of 182. She broke 200 twice with her best game of a 212 coming in game four.
Kinzie Temple finished 12th with a five-game total of 904 for an average of 180.8. Her best game was also in game four where she bowled a 214. Madison Henderson was right on her heels with a five-game total of 904 for an average of 180.4. Her best game was game three with a 202.
Hastings will be back in action Saturday Nov. 4 and will host the Bronco Open at Pastime Lanes.
