Bronco Bowling Men Finish 2nd; Women 4th
The Hastings College men's and women's bowling team were in action this past weekend opening up their season at the Midland Bowling Invite as the men finished 2nd with 5790 total pins and the women placed 4th with a pin total of 4798.
Leading the for Hastings was Tyler Seely as he finished third with a six game total of 1196. Dave Shields (SR/Omaha, NE) was right behind him finishing fourth with 1191 pins.Winton Gassmann (JR/Columbus, NE) finished fifth with 1173 total pins.
Kenneth Lance High (SO/Lake Mary, FL) finished 10th (1167), Marcel Mullen (SR/Hastings, NE) 11th (1159) and Carstin Olson (FR/Columbus, NE) 12th (1151).
The women finished fourth led by Caitlin Krallis (JR/Fort Collins, CO) as she finished 8th with a total of 1050. Emma Herman (FR/Mascoutah, IL) placed 10th with a pin total of 1032. Melissa Bates (JR/Dixon, IL) placed 15th with a six game pin total of 978 while Kas Ralson finished 16th with a total of 963.
William Penn won the men's side of things with 5805 total pins while Midland won the women's side with a pin total of 5281.
Hastings will be back in action Nov. 14-15 hosting the Bronco Open held at Pastime Lanes.
