Hastings College Volleyball Camps Set For July 21-25
(Hastings, NE) – In his first summer as head volleyball coach at Hastings College, John Schmidt, alongside assistant coach Casey Krolikowski, has set their volleyball camp dates, running three separate events during the week of July 21-25 in Lynn Farrell Arena.

On July 21-22, the Broncos will host an All-Skills Volleyball Camp taking place from 9-11:30am and 1-3:30pm. The cost is $100 per player, with a t-shirt included (bring lunch). This camp focuses on advancing the fundamental skills of individual players grades 5th grade through high school. It is open to beginner and intermediate volleyball players. Team concepts include basic offense and defensive systems. Campers will be grouped based upon skill level and experience so that they can be challenged at an appropriate level. Camp includes a camp t-shirt and many high fives!
July 23 will feature the Skill Clinics, which are for volleyball enthusiasts looking to improve their individual talents. It will focus on breaking down each specific skill set; including footwork, hand position and transitioning with setting; arm swing mechanics, shot selections and efficient out-of-system attacking with attackers; and platform skills, movement, first-step reacting and reading with ball control. Setting is from 9-11am, attacking is from 1-3pm, ball control is from 3:30-5:30pm. The cost is $25 per player, $65 for all three events.
On July 24-25, the Broncos will host an Elite Volleyball Camp taking place from 9-11:30am and 1-3:30pm. The cost is $100 per player, with a t-shirt included (bring lunch). This camp will offer advanced, college level training for those players who want to have a positive impact on their high school team and/or a desire to play at the next level. Each session will focus on individual skills/practice sessions with competition at the conclusion of camp. This camp is also a showcase camp to the Seward coaches.
One other option is the Satellite Team Camp. This camp we will come to you! During camp teams will receive team practices focusing on team development, offensive and defensive systems and competition. Prices are per player ($75-85 pending travel) for 10 hours of training over two days.
