Women's Tennis Drops Match to CSM
Omaha, NE - The Hastings College women's tennis team dropped its match to College of Saint Mary on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 5-2.
Omaha, NE - The Hastings College women's tennis team dropped its match to College of Saint Mary on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 5-2.
The Lady Broncos began the day on a high note by winning two of three double matches. Theresa Price and Samantha Worthington teamed up to defeat Kaia Chiason 6-4 at No. 2 doubles and then Emma Markle and Maddie Ketchem defeated Jackie Negrete and Blake McDowall at No. 3 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead.
But in singles action, Jenna Davison was the lone victor for Hastings by defeating McDowall 6-0, 6-0.
Hastings falls to 6-5 (0-2) on the year and will be back in action Saturday Apr. 1 as Northwestern comes to town with first serve set for 10:00 am out at the Dorothy Becker Tennis Courts in Hastings, NE.
