Women's Tennis Knocks off Baker 5-2
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College women’s tennis team defeated Baker 5-2 on Sunday afternoon inside the Physical Fitness Facility.
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College women's tennis team defeated Baker 5-2 on Sunday afternoon inside the Physical Fitness Facility.
The Lady Broncos picked up the lone point from doubles play as Sasha Richards and Samantha Worthington won at No. 2 doubles 6-1. Emma Markle and Maddie Ketcham also dominated at No. 3 doubles winning 6-1.
Hastings would win the four bottom singles matches as Worthington blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0.
Paige Wilcoxon won her match at No. 4 singles 6-3, 6-4 while Ketcham and Jenna Davison shut down their opponents 6-0, 6-0.
The Lady Broncos improve to 3-2 and will be back in action Friday Feb. 24 hitting the road to take on Metro out in Denver, CO.
