Henderson Leads Women's Bowling to 4th Place Finish at Bronco Open
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College women’s bowling team finished second at the Bronco Open over this past weekend at Pastime Lanes. Hastings finished with a total pin count of 5123 which was 99 pins out of first place where Iowa Central won with a total of 5222.
Hastings, NE – The Hastings College women's bowling team finished fourth at the Bronco Open over this past weekend at Pastime Lanes. Hastings finished with a total pin count of 7755 which was 86 pins out of first place where Iowa Central won with a total of 7841.
Hastings was led by Madison Henderson as she finished ninth with a total score of 1074 for an average of 179. Her best game came in game six where she bowled a 226. Marissa Ruiz was right behind her with a total pin count of 1067 as she finished 10th. She averaged 177.83 and her best game came in game six with a 222.
Amanda Peterson finished 15th with a six game total of 1024 for an average of 170.66 per game. Her best game came in game four with a 186.
Emaline Herman also finished in the top 20 as she finished 18th with a six game total of 995 for an average of 165.83. Her best game was in game five where she bowled a 183.
Hastings will now turn its attention to the Leatherneck Classic on Saturday Nov. 12 held in Davenport, IA.
