Ruiz Leads Way for Women's Bowling at Midwest Collegiate
Milwaukee, WI – The Hastings College women’s bowling team was in action over the weekend competing at the Midwest Collegiate finishing 26th out of 35 teams with a total pin count of 7859.
Milwaukee, WI – The Hastings College women's bowling team was in action over the weekend competing at the Midwest Collegiate finishing 26th out of 35 teams with a total pin count of 7859. There were 273 bowlers competing in this competition and 35 teams.
Marissa Ruiz led the way for the Lady Broncos placing 23rd with a total pin count of 1173. In game three she had her best game of 227 and came away with a 226 in game four. She averaged 195.5 over the six games.
Aislynn Davis finished 90th with an average of 171.7 as her pin count ended at 1030. Her best game came when she fired an even 200 in game three.
Madison Henderson finished 101st with a pin total of 991. She averaged 165.2 over her six games with her best game coming in game five with a 191.
St. Francis (IL) won the event with a team total of 9072.
Hastings will now turn its attention to the MidStates on Oct. 15 down in Wichita, KS.
