Shotgun Sports Takes 5th at IWCC Invitational
(Lincoln, NE) – The Hastings shotgun sports team competed at the Iowa Western CC Reiver Doubles Invitational, finishing in fifth place.
(Lincoln, NE) – The Hastings shotgun sports team competed at the Iowa Western CC Reiver Doubles Invitational, finishing in fifth place.
Junior Austin Hofts led the way for Hastings with a score of 695 by placing 36th. Sophomore Tucker Carpenter, who was 44th overall, had a total score of 687. Junior Hayden Thomason was 51st with a score of 671.
Also competing for Hastings was senior Tanner Dager (62nd, score of 642), sophomore Jake Royal (65th, score of 636), sophomore Hannah Sears (66th, score of 635), senior Rennick Turner (81st, score of 612), senior Kyle Frederick (70th, score of 632), junior Hunter Gilbertson (72nd, score of 627), and sophomore Katrice Lyons (80th, score of 615).
Up next, the Broncos will compete at the ACUI & SCTP Collegiate Nationals week-long event beginning on Sunday, Mar. 16 in San Antonio, TX.
