Men's Bowling Results from Glenn Carlson Invite and Collegiate Shootout
(Las Vegas, NV) – The men’s bowling team continued their season with two tournaments in Las Vegas, taking 24th out of 61 teams at the Glenn Carlson Invite on Thursday and Friday, then placed 38th out of 61 teams at the Collegiate Shootout on Saturday and Sunday.

At the Glenn Carlson Invite, junior Kaden Kuusela placed 38th amongst all of the individuals competing with a total pin count of 1685 and a 210.6 average. Six of his eight games were over 200, including a 241 in game six. Junior Anthony Morella finished 43rd with a total of 1672 in his eight games. He had an average of 209 and had five games of over 200, his best being 255 in game four.
Sophomore Jimmie Bradley finished 69th with a total of 1617 pins and an average of 202.1 in eight games, including four games of 200 or higher. Sophomore Colin Jaster took 237th with a pin count of 1213, averaging 202.2 in his six games with three games over 200.
Junior Ethan Lester took 362nd with a total of 728 and an average of 182 in his four games. Junior Brayden Schmieding placed 378th with a total of 672 in four games, averaging 168. Sophomore Bladyn Hogan placed 475th one game score of 176. Sophomore Alec Sundberg placed 495th with a one game score of 134.
At the Collegiate Shootout, Kuusela was 54th with 1045 pins in five games for a 209 average, including three games over 200 and a final game of 248. Morella had four games of over 200 with a 234 in game two, ending with a pin count of 1040 and a 208 average to take 64th in five games.
Sundberg was 217th, scoring 797 in four games for a 199.3 average. Lester placed 247th with a pin count of 744 in four games, averaging 186. Schmeiding finished 307th at 558 in three games and a 186 average. Bradley had a pin count of 357 in two games to take 382nd with a 178.5 average. Hogan was 449th with a one game score of 160, while Jaster was 469th with a one game score of 143.
Up next, Hastings will compete at Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic in Chicago, IL on January 17-18.
