Men's Bowling Claims NAIA Regional Championship Title

Overland Park, KS – The Hastings College men's bowling team is your NAIA Regional Champion after taking part in the NAIA Regional Conference Tournament this past weekend.
During qualifying, the Broncos would finish third with a team score of 3557 while Midland ended up as the No. 1 overall seed with a total pin count of 3749.
The Broncos began bracket play by defeating Kansas Wesleyan 3-1 to advance to take on Missouri Baptist. There HC picked up the 3-2 victory and would now face off against rival Midland and this match was so intense it literally came down to the final throw as the Broncos edged out the Warriors 3-2 to advance to the title match.
Missouri Baptist would be their opponent in the championship match where the Broncos won it handily 4-1 to claim the title and the automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship tournament.
Before nationals, the Broncos will compete in the ITC sectionals on March 9-10.
