(North Newton, KS) – In Game 1 versus Bethel College, Hastings started out slow as Bethel College scored the first run of the game at the bottom of the first. In response, senior Nicole Halsey singled to center, allowing junior Katyn Kappler to score the first run for the Broncos. Bethel came in with a rebuttal in the bottom of the third scoring three runs.

Softball Loses First Two Games After Extended Break

(Sioux Center, IA) – Playing their first games in almost three weeks due to the winter weather, Hastings returned to the field at Dordt’s indoor facility, the American State Bank Sports Complex, to resume their season. Hastings dropped their first game, 5-2, to the University of Saint Mary, then lost 4-0 to William Penn in the late game.
