Men's Cross Country Takes 14th at Chile Pepper Festival
(Fayetteville, AR) – The men’s cross country team raced at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival, placing 14th out of 29 teams in the 8K race.

Sophomore Parker Graves led the Broncos with a 65th place finish, clocking in at 27:58.3. Senior Deshawn Burks later finished behind Graves, taking 70th at 28:10.1.
Freshman Jordael Hernandez was the next Bronco finisher at 107, with a time of 29:05.3. Freshman Corey Fields placed 126th at 29:32.8 and sophomore Evan Struss took 128th with a time of 29:35.9.
Freshman Gareth Szabo finished 154th with a time of 30:05.4 and senior Sam Wise finished 190th with a time of 31:14.8. Senior Tyler Salter placed 195th, clocking in at 31:33.5, and freshman Henry Yazzie rounded out the Bronco lineup at 196th at the 31:35.0 mark.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic in Ashland, NE, on Saturday, October 25.
