Jelleberg Paces Men's Cross Country at Bronco Stampede
Hastings, NE - The Hastings College men's cross country team finished third at the Bronco Stampede hosted by the Broncos out at Hastings Lake. Friends took the team title with a score of 27 while Hastings finished with 52 points.
Tatum Jelleberg (SO/Mesa, AZ) led the way for Hastings finishing seventh in a time of 28:14. Zach Hole (SR/Wichita, KS) finished in 10th place in a time of 28:34 while Alec Garcia (FR/Alliance, NE) finished 15th in a time of 29:31 and Christian Wiegert (FR/Grand Island, NE) finished right behind him in 16th place in a time of 29:46.
Aaron Ochsner (SO/Hastings, NE) placed 22nd in a time of 32:09 and Sean Bromley (SR/Chandler, AZ) placed 23rd in a time of 32:37.
Hastings will now turn its attention to the Greeno/Dirkson meet held on Saturday Sept. 18 which is hosted by Doane University in Lincoln, NE.
