Men's Cross Country Places 6th at GPAC Championships
Sioux Center, IA - The Hastings College men's cross country team had its best finish since 2010 at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships by placing 6th on Saturday. The men placed 5th back in 2010.
Leading the way for the Harriers was Anthony Lopez (FR/San Marcos, TX) as he finished 25th in a time of 26:44. Not far behind him was Zach Hole (SO/Wichita, KS) placing 32nd in a time of 27:07.
Andru Hansen (SR/Lincoln, NE) came in 36th in a time of 27:23, Ethan Bergmann (SR/Aurora, NE) placed 41st in a time of 27:38 and rounding out the top five for the Broncos was Jarred Russell (JR/Cheyenne, WY) finishing 44th in a time of 27:43.
As a team, Hastings finished sixth with a score of 159. Dordt won the team title with a team score of 28.
