(Park City, KS) – Hastings had two wrestlers, sophomore Justin Rodriguez (133) and freshman Koen Mattern (285), compete at the 2025 NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championships in a three-day event that started on Thursday, finishing 36th out of 54 teams.

Morningside won all but one match in the first dual, then Northwestern beat Hastings, 31-18, in the second battle. They wrestled Briar Cliff in their final dual of the day, falling 33-18.

(Seward, NE) – The Hastings men’s wrestling team competed at the first of two GPAC Duals this year, traveling to Seward to take on Waldorf and Dakota Wesleyan. Hastings came back to defeat Waldorf 28-19 and lost 25-22 to Dakota Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.
