Hastings College to Join KCAC in Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving in 2026-27
KANSAS — Hastings College (Neb.) will be joining the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) as a per-sport member in Men's Swimming & Diving and Women's Swimming & Diving in the 2026-27 season, the conference office announced Wednesday. This year is the first year of competition in men's and women's swimming & diving for the Broncos.

"I am most excited to get this Swimming program up and running here at Hastings College," Tyler King, head swimming & diving coach at Hastings, remarked. "I am very eager to get started with recruiting and grow this program from the ground up! I am also very excited to be a part of the KCAC and helping to grow the sport as a part of a great conference."

The Hastings men's swimming & diving team will be the ninth men's team in the conference, joining full member schools Sterling College and the University of Saint Mary, as well as per-sport members Aquinas College (Mich.), Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.), Midland University (Neb.), Morningside University (Iowa), Bethel University (Ind.), and Dordt University (Iowa). The Broncos will be the tenth women's team in the KCAC, joining full member schools Sterling College and the University of Saint Mary, as well as per-sport members Aquinas College (Mich.), Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.), Midland University (Neb.), Morningside University (Iowa), Bethel University (Ind.), Dordt University (Iowa), and the College of Saint Mary (Neb.)
