Kosmicki Places 2nd Individually, Team Takes 2nd at NAIA Midwest Invite
(Manhattan, KS) - The men’s golf team traveled to Colbert Hills to compete in the Midwest Spring National Invite. They placed second as a team overall with +30 at the event that took place Monday and Tuesday.
(Manhattan, KS) - The men's golf team traveled to Colbert Hills to compete in the Midwest Spring National Invite. They placed second as a team overall with +30 at the event that took place Monday and Tuesday.
Leading the team was junior Henry Kosmicki with +1 and his best round being -1 placing him second overall. Close behind was freshman Blake Eddy who shot +5 with his best round consisting of a 68, he placed fifth.
Senior Gabriel Escalera was next with a +10 through the three rounds putting him in 16th place. Junior Ryker Dunkley ended up 28th place with +14 and Junior Max Nielsen rounded out the team with a +22, finishing 51st.
The Broncos head to the GPAC Tournament next to compete in Beatrice, NE. The tournament takes place on April 21 at Beatrice Country Club.
