Cheer Narrowly Loses to Doane
(Crete, NE) – The Hastings competitive cheer team took the floor on Thursday night at Doane, narrowly missing falling, 72.60-71.05.
(Crete, NE) – The Hastings competitive cheer team took the floor on Thursday night at Doane, narrowly missing falling, 72.60-71.05.
Hastings scored 23.5 out of 30 in the total building skills from both judges. In the tumbling/jumping skills, judge one gave Hastings a 19.6 score, while judge two gave them a 19.9 score out of 30.
In the 40-point routine total, judge one gave Hastings a score of 28 and judge two scored it as 28.8. The first judge had a total score of 70.9 out of 100, while judge two's came out to 72.2. The mean score was 71.05 after Hastings lost half a point on a deduction.
Up next, Hastings will compete at the Nfinity's ACC Challenge on February 8-9 in Orlando, FL.
