Scott Rezac

Scott Rezac - Alumni Coach of the Year

Scott Rezac has recently been named Ogallala High School assistant principal and activities director.

As a student at Hastings College, Rezac majored in physical education and history and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. In 2005, he received a master's degree in educational leadership from Doane College.

Rezac taught physical education and health and was head football coach at Grand Island Central Catholic for more than 10 years. His team made state football appearances in 1998, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. He spent five years as defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator. He assumed the assistant activities director position at Central Catholic in 2005.

Prior to Grand Island Central Catholic, Rezac was employed from 1992-1998 with District I-R School, a feeder school of Grand Island Northwest. From 1993-1998, he served as Northwest's varsity football coach and assistant junior high coach.

He and his wife, Traci, have four children; Conner, Colby, Trey and Caden.
