Randy Ahrens

Randy Ahrens - Alumni Coach of the Year

Ahrens, Athletic Director at Sutton Public Schools, and previously was the Activities Director at Hastings St. Cecilia where he coached the boys' golf team at Hastings Catholic Schools since 1996, and in 2008, his team won the Class C State Championship. The team also won District Championships in 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007. His team was conference champions for three years, conference runner-ups for four years and qualified for the state tournament seven times.

Ahrens' golf teams have won 26 invitational championships and were runners-up at 17 invitationals. The team has also won more than 20 duals or triangulars.

Ahrens is assistant football coach and works with quarterbacks, runningbacks, the defensive line and linebackers. He also has coached girls' and boys' basketball.
