Tony Hobson - Alumni Coach of the Year

Tony Hobson is being inducted into the Althletic Hall of Fame and is receiving the Alumni Coach of the Year Award.

Tony Hobson is in his third season as head coach of the Fort Hays State University women's basketball program. In his first two seasons at Fort Hays, Hobson led his team to consecutive appearances at the MIAA Tournament in Kansas City, MO. As Head Women's Basketball Coach at Hastings College (2001-08), Hobson's overall record was 211-40. He was a three-time NAIA Coach of the Year and National Championship Coach. His team was the Conference Champion six of his seven years at Hastings College.
