What kind of athlete are you? I take pride in the fact that I'm a STUDENT-athlete. I'm the kind of person that likes to do my job in the classroom and on the field, but have fun on the sidelines... Can't be serious all the time!
Each time you go out and compete, what do you think about? The biggest thing I'm working on is just having fun. It's so easy to get caught up in the all the preparation and expectations that often accompany collegiate sports, and sometimes I forget to just enjoy all the experiences that come with it. This has become a more pressing issue for me as I realize our sports careers are coming to an end soon.
Who has had the biggest impact on you here at HC?
I have found many great mentors through my teammates, coaches, and professors--each bringing something different to the table. Though I may look up to my teammates, coaches, and professors for different reasons, they all encourage and support my aspirations in life. These people are, and will continue to be, an extremely big part of what motivates me to keep working hard long after football is over.
