Seward - The Hastings College track and field teams competed at the Concordia Invite on Friday and here are the results.
The HC women win the 4x800 relay with a time of 9:52.75. Relay members included Tera McVicker (SO/Grand Island, NE), Nicole Mundy (SO/Centennial, CO), Heidi Hennings (SO/Sprague, WA), and Camilla Lee (FR/Mead, CO)
The HC men's 4x800 relay finished first. Relay members included Nolan Kohmetscher, Ethan Bergmann, Trevor Alber, Ryan Parthemer.
In the men's Shot Put Alex Wellington finished 2nd with a throw of 17.03m. That was an "A" standard automatic national qualifying throw. In the men's weight throw Wellington finished 4th (18.39m) and Grant Wickham was 5th (18.92m). Both threw "A" standard marks.
In the women's 60m dash Shantinique Cunningham (SO/Glendale, AZ) ran 7.83 to finish 2nd. That was a "B" standard national qualifying time. Cunningham won the women's long jump with a leap of 5.36m. In the women's triple jump Cunningham finished 2nd with a leap of 11.03m.
Caitlyn Cotton (FR/Omaha, NE) finished 2nd in the 200m dash with a time of 26.07 seconds.
In the women's weight throw Sara Olsen (JR/Blair, NE) (17.46m), Nicole Ramaekers (JR/Norfolk, NE) (16.50m), Teeka Thompson (SR/Columbia Heights, MN) (16.20m) finish 2-4-7 all with "A" std. throws.
In the women's 60m hurdles Olivia Berks (FR/Lincoln, NE) finished 2nd with an "A" standard time of 8.92. April Faimon (SR/Lawrence, NE) was 5th with a time of 9.64
Savanna Rosenbaum (SO/Sidney, NE) finished 3rd in the women's high jump with a leap of 1.60m
In the women's 400m dash Paxton Fiala (SR/Ainsworth, NE) finished 4th (1:01.14) and Ali Johnson (SR/Grand Island, NE) was 5th (1:01.97).
The HC men's 4x400 relay finished 3rd. Relay members included Jake Ridpath, Lucas Keifer, Travis Kleeb, and Antonio Duncan.
The HC women's 4x400 finished 3rd with 4:04.68. Relay members included Caitlyn Cotton, Olivia Berks, Paxton Fiala, and Ali Johnson.
In the men's 3000m run Lucas Keifer finished 3rd with a time of 9:00.03.
In the women's 1000m run Tera McVicker finished 3rd (3:14.88) and Makayla Mudloff (FR/Saint Paul, NE) was 6th (3:22.89).
In the women's mile Heidi Hennings was 3rd with a time of 5:31.66.
In the men's 600m dash Jake Ridpath finished 4th with a time 1:24.39.
In the women's shot put Olsen was 5th (13.38m) which was an "A" std. qualifying throw and Thompson was 7th (13.14m)
In the men's 60m dash Antonio Duncan finished 4th with a personal best time of 7.03. Duncan finished 7th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.87 seconds.
In the men's long jump Dakota Repass and Chris Genovez finished 7th and 8th. Both jumped 6.29m
